The K&M Process
Step 1
Initial Consultation
Every case begins with a consultation to understand your referral needs, answer questions, and determine whether our services are the right fit. During this phase, we clarify the referral question, review available information, discuss timelines and fees, and outline the evaluation process so all parties have a clear understanding of what to expect.
Step 2
Comprehensive Evaluation
Our clinicians conduct a thorough evaluation using interviews, record reviews, collateral information, and evidence-based assessment tools when indicated. Each evaluation is individualized to the referral question while maintaining clinical integrity, objectivity, and adherence to professional standards.
Step 3
Clinical Analysis
Following the evaluation, we carefully analyze all available information, integrating clinical findings, assessment results, collateral data, and relevant records. Every opinion is grounded in current research, accepted clinical methodology, and the specific facts of the case to ensure accurate and defensible conclusions.
Step 4
Written Report
A comprehensive written report is prepared that clearly summarizes the evaluation process, findings, clinical opinions, and recommendations. Reports are tailored to the referral purpose and written in language that is organized, objective, and understandable for attorneys, courts, healthcare providers, schools, employers, agencies, or individuals.
Step 5
Consultation & Expert Services
When requested, we provide consultation, case review, mediation support (coming soon), expert witness testimony, and professional guidance related to our findings. Whether collaborating with attorneys, healthcare providers, schools, employers, or other professionals, our opinions remain impartial, evidence-based, and ethically grounded.
